Athletes
No matter your level of sport experience, or if you just want to get active and meet new people, we are always welcoming athletes to join Manitoba Blind Sports Association! We invite blind and visually impaired members to try out our programs and join our growing community of athletes. We offer a wide variety of sports and fitness programs for adults and children.
Fees are payable by cheque, cash or e-transfer. Please contact the office to arrange method of payment or to discuss payment options.
Volunteers/Coaches
Do you have skills you want to lend to our organization? Whether with a program or at an event, we often have opportunities available to volunteers. Contact us to discuss options for volunteering with Manitoba Blind Sports–we look forward to meeting you!
Information for Athletes
Our blind and visually impaired athletes are classified by visual acuity under the guidelines set out by the International Blind Sports Federation. A number of sighted athletes currently participate alongside our athletes, promoting an environment of inclusion from both sides.
In competition, classification types vary by sport.
If you would like to participate in a sport that is not currently offered, please feel free to make a suggestion by contacting us!

Download our Membership Registration Form for athletes and volunteers below in Rich Text (.rtf), PDF, and Word (.doc) format. Completed forms can be e-mailed to MBSA or hard copies may be mailed or dropped off. Fees are payable by cheque (mail or in person), cash (in person) or e-transfer.
